What's in my Make-Up Bag

I have a ton of make up.. Before I had kids I bought tons and for every holiday, birthday my husband buys me more.. I prefer Mac & Urban Decay, but I do have some Mary Kay, Avon, and a walmart brand because I liked the colors or the product. I will try and link you to everything.. But some of these colors or items may not longer be for sale.. :) I'm also going to-do a my favorite beauty items in this post as well.. I do habe more make up than below. It's just not in the bag as I'm not using it.

OK so let's start with my favorite beauty items.. And these are not make-up.. :)

I've always had a straightener I just can't even image how else I'd do my hair. I use to own a Chi Straightener and those are really great flat irons.. I had mine about five years and it had started to take a toll it wasn't getting as hot as I needed it.. I need it to be super hot or I will have to go over a little section 4 or 5 times that just how thick my hair is.. So I went on a mission to research and find a professional flat iron.. I found the KQC at Flat Iron Experts. This is one of the hottest flat irons I've ever owned. It heats up with in 60 seconds and does a excellent job.. Since I section my hair off into small groups I only have to run the iron over a section once. My KQC There is the direct link to the one I purchased.

A few years ago a hair stylist friend sent this to me.. She knows I hate the smell of hair spray but sometimes like to use it.. She sent me Straight Sexy Hair Smooth & Seal.. Love it!! I use it every time I straighten my hair.. It's not so stiff but it keeps my hair from frizzing and all that jazz.. Straight Sexy Hair

I picked this up after getting my hair highlighted a while back.. I just loved the feel and how it made my hair shine.. It's by Pureology.. I put it in my hair while it's wet.. Then I blow dry it and straighten my hair. This is what the product description. Pureology glossing mist is a no hold, high shine formula of lightweight silicones that renew luster in color-treated hair while repairing, protecting, and enhancing color vibrancy. Hair is ultra shiny, with light-reflecting color. The exclusive antifadecomplex maximizes color retention.

Slim Sliver Brush is from Clinique This brush I have no idea if sold. I bought this years ago (like 7) and just started using it. 

Fat Short Silver Brush- Is from Prescriptives. No idea about this either a friend bought this brush and gave it to me a few years ago.

Three Black Brushes up top are from Bella Terra. I bought this in a mall in Nashville, TN. I like the feel of them.. 

MAC Mineralize Satin Finish Foundation

I have tried almost all of the liquid foundations by Mac and this is by far my favorite. 

I do not keep it in my bag because I like it to be kept up right.

Chelsi is FIVE months old

Chelsi was five months old on January 11th.. 

I literally cried.. She is my little bitty baby and she needs to stay that way.. 

Chelsi is one of the sweetest, loving little babies.. All of my children were sweet and loving but Chelsi is over the top.. She is always smiling and if she isn't she is sick.. She loves kisses and being cuddled and honestly we all hope she stays like that. 

I just love this expression of hers.. And we see lots all day long. LOL

Chelsi this week went to the doctor and the scales with all of her clothes on was right under 16lbs.. Doctor figure around 15 and half lbs.. She isn't a chunk anywhere but her thighs.. She is wearing 3-6 months clothing but can fit in to some 0-3 depending on the brand. She wears a size 2 pampers diaper. 

This is her I'm over it Mom look.. :) lol

This month has been a busy one.. She went for her hearing test December 28th.. She passed in her right ear, the technician said she was going to pass her in her right ear.. We were so excited.. A few days later her pediatrician called and said after Chelsi was 6 months old she had to go back. She had failed again in her right ear. Her ear drum is not picking up vibrations. The technician had also told us there was a ton of fluid in her ear. I did take her in for the fluid that was mentioned and she did in fact have a ear infection. 

A lot of you have emailed me asking about her clothing.. So in the above pictures her clothing is from the following stores.. She started physical therapy this last week.. They come to us and it's twice a week and currently 30-45 minutes each visit. Lisa wants to bump it up to an hour each time.. We have decided not to do the helmet as her main pediatrician and Lisa both think with therapy she will overcome the flatness on one side. Her doctor also put in an evaluation for Occupational Therapy. We haven't had that yet but should in the next week or so.. 

This was around Christmas and she was just sitting in her car seat not in a vehicle.

Hello 2012

As most of you are aware I live in Texas and we all know Texas can't decide from day to day what the weather should be. HA Over the weekend the weather was nice enough that Chelsi got to wear a skirt or two..

Since Chelsi is our last baby I sold her pottery barn bassinet. I had really wanted to keep on to it but I just don't have the space.. I want to pass something down to each of my children and so I decided I would save all of Chelsi's smocked dresses for her.. I'm sure by the time she has children they won't be in style but at least she'll have them to show her children what was stylish.. lol ;)

This picture was taken a few days before Christmas.. Chelsi was unhappy.. lol

The little ones had a wonderful Christmas and always was showered with lots of love from our family. This coming Thursday their Na-Na & Papaw will be in town for a few days.. My FIL is a prison guard at a high security prison so he wasn't able to spend Christmas out of town. It's been a while since they saw the boys so I think the boys will be thrilled.. 

My in-laws sent this little fisher price gym to Chelsi a few weeks before Christmas hoping it would help her torticollis and her wanting to do tummy time.. It was recommend by her therapist and it has really improved her time on doing tummy time.. It has a ton of toys but most of them aren't up in this picture.. I don't want her to overwhelmed at once. 

Jon was off of school over the holiday's and it worked out to be about 11 days.. We didn't get as much as we wanted to get accomplished.. But we enjoyed him being home and he goes back tomorrow.. I'm sure he is ready to get back at it.. He likes to stay busy and being home he doesn't feel he is.. :)

Aiden has a double ear infection and a skin issue above his lip from having a cold.. He was put on antibiotics for both. And so big brother Gregory has been his little cuddle buddy and nurse. 

Not only did Aiden have to be on antibiotics but so did Chelsi and Gregory. Chelsi has a ear infection in her right ear. And Gregory had a skin infection on his ankles and hands from his acute dermatitis eczema. 

Chelsi had her hearing test on December 28th, 2011 and I will update about that in a whole other entry.. :) 

And last but not least Nikolas has really been enjoying his baby sister if he hadn't already.. She has got where she likes watching them play and they are able to rattle her toys and entertain her.. And he thinks that is just WONDERFUL.. :)

Chelsi is Four Months Old

December 11th, 2011

Chelsi, is four months old and to be honest I just can't believe it.. In reality it kinda makes me sad.. Sad for many reasons, mainly this is my last child and I just love when they are little bitty.. It's amazing how much she has changed since she was born.. :)

Chelsi's 4 month well baby is not until December 16th and we've already been to the doctor Tuesday December 6th.. She weighed 14lbs even and 25 inches long.. She was 66% percentile for height and 30% percentile for weight.. Dr. H said she is just PERFECT.. We have waited a very long 3 months to get to see Dr. H so we were able to switch December 1st.. She is re-sending her for another hearing test and that is December 28th.. And she referred her to a new much closer physical therapy place.. Actually they maybe able to come to our house.. :) December 15th the Home Health people came out re-evaluated her for physical therapy and did in fact say she needed and they are recommending Occupational Therapy as well.

Chelsi loves watching her brothers and being entertained.. You know when you are royalty you really don't have to-do much for yourself.. ;)

She wears 0-3 months and some 3-6 months clothing.. She is in a size 2 diaper. And wears a size 3-6 months shoe or size 1.. :)

I really thought it was just a newborn phase but she can not stand to be naked.. You would think she was dying the way she screams about it..

But I'm going to guess you are about 12-13lbs..

Eating: Similac Sensitive For Spit Up Formula

This month you went to a Physical Therapy evaluation and it was confirmed you did need services.. You started therapy with your therapist November 30th.. :) The facility was Our Children's House through Baylor. 

You also went November 21st, 2011 to Children's Hospital in Dallas to see a tech in audiology. They confirmed you could hear out of your left ear and was about 50% deaf/hard of hearing in your right ear. 

The month of November you celebrated your first Thanksgiving.. :)

You do not like tummy time but the therapist insist you must do this.. So Nanny and Pappy sent you a early christmas present..

I like sleeping like this.. Much to everyone's displeasure. My doctor says as long as Mommy and Daddy are up it's fine. HEHE

This month Daddy took me to get my ears pierced at my pediatrician's office.. My doctors were mega fast and I didn't even know it happened.. I have my birth stone as the stud in my earrings. I told Daddy next up were diamonds.. 

I really want to sit up on my own all the time.. I think I'm older than I am Mommy says. HA

Chelsi is two months old

I am having to catch up.. I won't back date so nothing is missed but Chelsi turned two months old October 11th, 2011.. :)

She is such a beauty.. I love her little face!!

She weighed 11lbs and was 22 inches long. :)

You wear a size newborn and some 0-3 month clothing.

Size 1 diapers.

This month we moved town homes and to a new city.. Not far from Kennedale, Texas to Arlington, Texas.. You celebrated one holiday, which was Halloween.. You did not dress up you thought that was to much work. Ha

At your new pediatrician that you saw on October 25th, 2011 the doctor decided to send you to a audiologist and have your hearing tested. That will be in your three month update. As well as diagnosed you with torticollis and told us you would need to have a physical therapy evaluation. That will also be in your three update.. :)

You sleep from about 10pm until 3am and then from 0330 to 7am.. You take 2-3 nice long naps a day.. :) You think sleeping on your back is for the birds and it annoys you deeply that we place you that way. We swaddle you still and you think your hands are not part of that set up.. ;)

On October 12th you and I were apart for several hours as I had surgery and had to leave you in good hands with your Gran. ;)
